Zoya Nail Polish is the world’s leading brand of nail polish. Known as the “Healthy New Color of Fashion” Zoya is always a step ahead of fashion trend with the longest wearing natural nail formula. From creams, mattes, satins, metallic and texture finishes there are over 300 shades to choose from.

I’m trying to save some money these days so I won’t participate in this one. It looks very tempting since I’m starting to like Zoya polishes more and more. With the exchange rate, I’d be paying about $31 CAD for 4 bottles of polish.

Zoya Blaze Swatch & Review

I bought this shade way back earlier in the year when Zoya was having a sale (pay for shipping and receive 3 bottles for free) and when the CAD/USD exchange rate wasn’t this bad.

I had been eyeing for this shade for a long time, especially after I tried Zoya Dream and witnessed how amazing it is under the sun.

Zoya Blaze is a red/berry colour with scattered holo effect. It looks beautiful under daylight.

Application is the same as great (no streakiness and easy to apply) as long as you are used to Zoya’s brush. I mentioned before that their brushes are not the best for me. However, I think I’m more used to it now.

It lasted 7 days with minor tip wear

OPI Dutch Tulips Nail Polish Review & Swatch

I apologize for the lack of updates on my blog. I have been quite busy with my personal life these days and my nails were peelings so I was taking a break and letting my nails breath.

I got this bottle of OPI Dutch Tulips a month ago. It was on clearance at my local London Drugs for CAD $5.99. I believe this was part of OPI’s permanent line. However, since it is on clearance, I’m not sure if that means it will be discontinued.

The moment I saw the bottle I knew this is gonna be the perfect bright spring/summer colour. The photo doesn’t really do justice to the colour. I would describe the colour as in between hot pink and fuchsia.

The application is wonderful to work with. No bubbling or streakiness at all. I used 2 coats in my photo but this can be a one coater.

Sally Hansen Commander in Chic Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Here is another review post on the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line. This nail polish shade – commander in chic is one of my favourite! I had this polish for a while. I probably snatched it at superstore, but I cannot remember how much is it. (I assume it is under $10CAD)

It is a taupe but looks purple under certain lightings. I know this looks more of a fall/winter polish, but I don’t care. It just looks so sophisticated and chic on the nails that I think it should be wore in all seasons.

There were no issues with the application. It lasted 6 days without chipping.

Photos below are swatched with OPI Nail Envy as base coat + 2 coats + Seche Vite top coat.

Sally Hansen Raisin the Bar Nail Polish Swatch & Review

Hello, there. Today I am reviewing the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure – Raisin the Bar. I had this polish for at least a year now. I can only think one other time that I wore this. I can’t remember how much I got it for, most likely in the 7.99 CAD – 9.99 CAD range.

I don’t know if there is anything wrong with my bottle of polish. Application is streaky and I got a few bubbles here and there. It was hard to make the coats even.

I like the colour it self. It is a rose colour – a nice alternative to pink.

Unfortunately, It chipped on me the next day. It’s been almost a week now and I see major chipping and I need to take it off as soon as possible.

Photo below is with OPI Nail Envy as base coat + 2 coats + Seche Vite Top Coat.
