I apologize for the lack of updates on my blog. I have been quite busy with my personal life these days and my nails were peelings so I was taking a break and letting my nails breath.
I got this bottle of OPI Dutch Tulips a month ago. It was on clearance at my local London Drugs for CAD $5.99. I believe this was part of OPI’s permanent line. However, since it is on clearance, I’m not sure if that means it will be discontinued.
The moment I saw the bottle I knew this is gonna be the perfect bright spring/summer colour. The photo doesn’t really do justice to the colour. I would describe the colour as in between hot pink and fuchsia.
The application is wonderful to work with. No bubbling or streakiness at all. I used 2 coats in my photo but this can be a one coater.

Overall: 5/5 – one of my favourite colours from OPI for sure!
OPI A Grape Affair is from the Coca-Cola collection in 2014. It is a deep purple colour. It is very hard to photograph the true colour because it looks too dark under certain light conditions such as indoors. Some say this is a dupe for OPI Vant to Bite My Neck? from the Euro Centrale collection. I do not have that polish to compare.
I snatched this from London Drugs on Robson Street a week ago because it was on clearance. There are a few other colours from the Coca-Cola collection that I’m interested such as Get Cherried Away and Today I Accomplished Zero. In the meantime, this baby will do. 🙂
The formula is great. I had no issues with the application (other than my shaky shaky hand holding the brush). The photos below show 2 coats with base (OPI Nail Envy) and top coat (Seche Vite).
Overall, I am satisfied with this polish. It matches the purple jacket that I was wearing. I do wish the colour is a tad bit lighter so it doesn’t look black from time to time.
OPI Muir Muir on the Wall is from the San Francisco collection that came out in fall 2013. The name is referring to Muir Woods. I’ve owned this nail polish for a few months now. I really like the colour. It is a duochrome.
The application was easy. I used 2 coats in the photos below with OPI nail envy as base coat and Seche Vite fast drying top coat.
Overall, I like the colour more when it is under the sun (the deep red colour rather than the brown in darker places). Although I used 2 coats, 3 coats would give the optimal results. It lasts 5-7 days without chipping for me.
